17 August 2022. Histori Bersama presents: “The Indonesia Interviews” Indonesians in the Netherlands are hardly represented because of the dominance of the so-called ‘Indies community’. Most Dutch people cannot even differentiate between Indies or Indonesian and do not know that these are separate identities. We believe this issue deserves to be discussed more, especially the historical background of it. On this day of celebration Histori Bersama launches a new project: “The Indonesia Interviews”. We started our series with Jeffry Pondaag, chair of K.U.K.B. What is his life story, what motivates him? What brought him to the Netherlands?
